Location
Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel rooms were small by American standards but were perfect for us, a bit small for 4 adults, and comfortable for the night, which was as expected considering the location. The service was welcoming, with a departure bag of snacks as a nice touch, and exceptionally nice, always ready to provide recommendations. The location was within walking distance of most attractions and very convenient for those needing to be near the station and close to downtown. The dining experience was good for the price paid, with a good selection available. Overall, a cozy stay with minor room size considerations but great service and location.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is great for a romantic getaway, very comfortable, and surprisingly quiet despite being in the Red Light district. The rooms are modern and spacious.
Overall, the hotel is a good option for a budget stay with some drawbacks. The rooms could have been a little more spacious and are situated near a hostel, causing noise in the mornings. On the bright side, the service was charming, despite being awakened by a fire alarm. The location is great for exploring the center of Amsterdam, although it may not be ideal for families with young children due to the crowded environment. The dining options, while sufficient, could be improved with more variety. Facilities are basic but functional.
The hotel is perfectly situated near Amsterdam Centraal, making it ideal for train commuters and those who enjoy being close to pubs, food options, and canal river cruises. The rooms, while a bit small and lacking perfect noise isolation, were adequately equipped with a fan heater. Service was generally nice, though we encountered some issues with charges on one day. The location earns a high rating for its convenience and proximity to key attractions, despite minor room size and noise concerns.
The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the town, close to the central station, red light district, and plenty of coffee shops. The rooms, although small, are clean and organized, fulfilling all required functions. The service is exceptional, with staff being so nice, friendly, polite, and helpful. The dining experience offers a lovely spread of food options, and the hotel is within walking distance of various amenities. While the luggage storage area is congested, the proximity to tourist spots and bars/restaurants is a major plus.
The hotel had some positives like a great central location with easy access to shops and attractions, but the rooms were smaller than expected and lacked an iron. The service was friendly and accommodating, adding to the pleasant stay. The dining options were good value for money but the location might not suit everyone's preference due to space constraints in the room.
The hotel had a good size room for our needs, though it was terribly small and a bit cool at times as there was no radiator, but a fan heater was provided. Unfortunately, it was right next to the wheely bins, making it very noisy from 8 in the morning.
The hotel has a great location close to the main train station, offering clean and comfortable rooms with a few noise issues and a not-so-great view. The service is friendly and helpful, although there was a disturbance from a fire alarm. The dining experience, while pre-booked, lacked some variety. The facilities are good overall.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and located at the quiet rear of the hotel, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, allowing us to store our bags before check-in. The location is superb, right in the bustling heart of the city and just a stone's throw away from Amsterdam Central Station. The dining experience was decent, offering a variety of options, but the freshness could have been improved. Overall, great value for money with fantastic service and amenities.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room, although spacious and spotlessly clean, was quite noisy in the morning due to its proximity to the breakfast area. The service was incredibly friendly and informative, with staff going out of their way to assist me. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Amsterdam, but the dining options were basic and limited. Overall, a cozy stay with some minor drawbacks.
